Qualifications

• Computer literacy and customer service skills.
• Cardiovascular/Fire & Life Safety knowledge may be required in certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Registers all patients and completes admission forms accurately.
• Verifies medical record status using Master Patient Index and ensures data accuracy.
• Explains hospital policies, collects payments, and handles IDs/insurance cards.
• Operates PBX, answers calls, and routes to correct departments; paging and codes as needed.
• Ensures physicians are authorized to admit patients and handles delinquency referrals.
• Maintains confidentiality for patients, families, employees, and visitors.
