Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and register patient for services.
• Review schedules and physician orders to assign the correct service.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and other documents; enter demographics and insurance data.
• Explain and complete regulatory and privacy documents; ensure compliance.
• Explain and collect co-pays, deposits, and balances; process transactions securely.
• Greet patients, answer questions, and direct to appropriate service areas; may perform scheduling, pre-admission, and discharge duties.
