JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records across multiple locations. You will handle insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals while collecting patient financial responsibilities with confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma, medical assistant certification preferred, and 1+ years in healthcare reception.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience working as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to travel throughout JAG locations for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions.
• Field all calls using the office number.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments using medical office software.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Distribute forms and paperwork to ensure required fields are completed.
• Daily collection of patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as required.
