The role requires 1-2 years of medical insurance verification and 2-3 years of medical customer service, with a willingness to work varied day shifts. Strong communication and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Medical Insurance verification experience required.
• 2-3 years of Customer Service experience in the medical field required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required within sixty (60) days from start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with MS Office, EMR/EPM systems.
• MUST be flexible with schedule; including day, evening, weekend hours, and holidays per facility needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients both in-person and over the phone, registration, and inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information accurately.
• Provide strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
• Managing patient flow.
• Collect necessary paperwork and coordinate with various departments for patient care.
