Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Patient Access Specialist for a PRN Nights role in the Lakeway–Austin area. You will greet patients, handle registrations and inquiries, and verify insurance while coordinating with care teams to ensure smooth access to services.

The role emphasizes empathy, accuracy, and strong communication as you support patients through the scheduling and admission process in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Medical Insurance verification experience required.
• 2–3 years of Customer Service experience in the medical field required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required within 60 days from start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with MS Office and EMR/EPM systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in-person and over the phone, registrations and inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance and demographic information accurately.
• Provide strong phone and verbal communication, plus active listening.
• Collect paperwork and coordinate with departments for patient care.

What we’re looking for:

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required within sixty (60) days from start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with MS Office, EMR/EPM systems.
• MUST be flexible with schedule; including day, evening, weekend hours, and holidays per facility needs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
