Complete Care ER in San Antonio, TX seeks a Patient Access Specialist to support registration, insurance verification, and front desk operations at our freestanding ER locations. You are the first contact for patients seeking emergency care, influencing patient experience and care quality.

The role requires 1–2 years in medical insurance verification and 2–3 years in medical customer service or front desk work, with EMR/EPM and MS Office proficiency and BLS certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of medical insurance verification experience
• Two to three years of medical customer service or front desk experience
• Experience with EMR or EPM systems and MS Office
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association within sixty days
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be flexible for night weekends and holidays
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced emergency room environment
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and complete check in, registration, and front desk duties
