Hanger, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to manage front office operations and ensure a smooth patient flow for arrivals, registrations, and payments.

The role requires strong communication, basic computer skills, and a front office background. You will verify demographics, collect payments, schedule follow-ups, and maintain accurate electronic records while collaborating with the RCM team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service or admin experience required.
• Receptionist/front office experience preferred.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide wait-time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance during check-in.
• Collect patient payments, including deductibles and copays.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments for prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain patient information.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records for all patients.
