Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a true desire to help others while providing a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Deadline-driven and detail-oriented.
• High level of computer literacy with the ability to use and/or quickly learn computer programs including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a high-volume and dynamic atmosphere.
• Ability to communicate and work efficiently with patients, co-workers, and providers.
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update profiles.
• Collect payment and assist with billing while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and documents into the EMR (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy.
• Answer high-volume calls and emails promptly per values.
• Confirm unconfirmed appointments for the next business day.
• Monitor lobby and update patients on delays.
• Assist patients with online registration or form completion.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments.
• Verify patient insurance information and determine payment responsibility.
• Ensure registrations and eligibility are complete before visits.
• Schedule follow-up appointments at checkout.
• Ensure all appointments are checked out in eCW daily.
• Keep front area tidy; assist with lobby cleanliness.
• Demonstrate Women’s Care mission and values.
• Comply with HIPAA rules and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
