Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform efficient and organized check-in/out for patients while maintaining throughput and customer service.
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance during registration as appropriate.
• Collect copayments and patient balances, and scan/file documents into the Medical Record as needed.
• Answer multi-line phones and direct calls in a polite and courteous manner.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and rights in accordance with HIPAA and policy.
