St. Tammany Health System seeks Patient Access Representatives to ensure efficient and organized patient check-in with top priority on throughput and service. You will collect accurate information while safeguarding patient confidentiality per HIPAA and policy.

Excellent communication and a professional demeanor are essential, as some roles may involve disaster staffing during emergencies. This position covers multiple locations with flexible scheduling and weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication with patients and/or insurance carriers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and maintains a professional and neat work environment.
• Promotes a positive image of STPH while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Disaster/emergency staffing may be required for certain positions.
• Knowledge of different location processes (order entry vs scheduling) depending on location.
