Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and/or representatives and provide directions as needed.
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures and schedule/preschedule appointments.
• Register patients and collect/verify information per policy and process payments.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain precertifications/authorizations when applicable.
• Communicate with payers, physician offices, and other departments to coordinate care.
