Qualifications

• Understanding of Mercy Level 1 responsibilities and insurance plans.
• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to complete financial clearance processes and plan payments.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance into Mercy facilities, including scheduling and registration.
• Verify benefits, pre-certification and financial clearance for patients.
• Ensure accurate patient data is entered into the patient record.
• Mentor fellow Patient Access co-workers.
