Mercy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring compassionate service and accurate data collection. You will support scheduling, registration, benefit verification, pre-certification, and financial clearance across Mercy facilities.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years clerical and customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to handle high-volume, detail-oriented tasks in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to build positive relationships with patients, physicians, staff, and insurers.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail; accurate data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and facilitate entry into Mercy facilities.
• Assist with scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and pre-certification.
• Obtain and input accurate patient data into records; support insurance and financial clearance.
