Advocate Health in Illinois is seeking a Full-Time Admitting Clerk for the 11:00 am–7:30 pm shift (40 hours/week). You will register patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure accurate information for timely billing and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with healthcare registration and insurance verification preferred.
• Demonstrates HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Create initial electronic health record for patient care and billing.
• Check in/register patients; verify demographics, guarantor, and insurance info; collect co-pays.
• Explain insurance coverage and refer to Financial Advocates as needed.
