Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at Logan Clinic. The role focuses on ensuring a superior patient experience, greeting, check-in/out, and resolving patient needs related to intake and care.

The position is full-time with a 36-hour workweek, involving 12-hour shifts across Logan and North Cache Instacare. Weekend and holiday scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills (word processing and data entry).
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous connections with patients by phone, in person, or secure messaging to ensure a high-quality experience.
• Document all interactions accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals, tests, and consultations.
• Verify demographic data and collect necessary forms and IDs; assist with insurance coordination.
