Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a PRN Patient Access Representative to support Hospital Registration in Phoenix. You will be the first contact for families, guiding them through check-in and registration with compassion and accuracy.

In this role, you will collect co-pays, verify demographics and insurance, and route questions to the Financial Counselor as needed. Prior EMR experience and strong communication are preferred to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1 year of related office or retail experience with direct customer contact is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with efficient registration.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles at time of service.
• Verify and update demographics and insurance information.
• Assist in navigating patients through check-in processes.
