Job summary

Responsibilities

• Capture and document patient demographic, subscriber, and insurance information in the EHR system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; collect co-pays and financial counseling when appropriate.
• Educate patients on billing processes and document payment information.
• Prepare patient packets for scheduled procedures as needed.
• Demonstrate knowledge of billing requirements and insurance guidelines.
