Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Patient Access/Registration professional to greet patients, register visits, and verify demographic and insurance information. You will identify coverage, collect co-pays, and coordinate with payers to ensure accurate pre-certification and authorization where required.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and data-entry skills, with proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with patient access workflows and registrations preferred.
• Proficient in medical terminology and billing concepts helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and register patients and verify demographic data.
• Identify insurance eligibility and benefits; collect copay/deductible as applicable.
• Perform pre-certifications and verify payer requirements across systems.
• Document and verify all registration data in the EHR and document management system.
• Provide financial counseling when needed and educate patients on billing processes.
