Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a courteous, professional manner.
• Interview patients to collect demographic, financial and insurance information for billing.
• Verify insurance benefits and coverage for inpatients and outpatients.
• Enter patient information into registration systems and maintain accuracy.
• Assist with pre-admission scheduling, Medicaid screening and pre-certifications.
• Explain financial policies and collect estimated self-pay balances.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate records.
