• Basic patient interaction skills and accuracy in entering demographic and insurance data.
• Familiarity with real-time eligibility and payer websites.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Verify insurance and collect out-of-pocket liabilities.
• Enter orders and confirm medical necessity for outpatient visits.
• Interview patients for MSPQ for Medicare patients.
• Rotate through all points of service within Patient Access.
• Use EPIC or Cerner to access records and verify coverage.
