Qualifications

• Experience with computer systems including web-based apps and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the process.
• Processes co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguards cash and receipts.
• Completes necessary forms and gathers signatures for clinical documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of patient information.
• Supports scheduling by prioritizing and accessing multiple sources.
• Pre-registration: verifies insurance and guarantor information; verifies real-time eligibility.
