Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Associate degree or business college certificate preferred.
• Experience in computer data entry and customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments and manages check-in/check-out functions.
• Enters patient data into computer systems accurately, including registration and visit creation.
• Communicates with patients regarding appointments and required documentation.
• Prepares release of information and consent forms as needed and coordinates information from other providers.
• Answers phones and serves as receptionist for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and hospital information.
