Job summary

Mosaic Life Care’s Access Department seeks an Access Representative to support patient care delivery by handling appointments, data entry, and patient communications. You will act as a receptionist for the provider's office, manage registration and medical records, and assist with release of information as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, excellent data entry and customer service skills, and the ability to handle multiple phone lines.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in data entry, customer service, and medical records is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments and manages check-in/check-out functions.
• Enters patient data into computer systems and maintains accurate registrations and records.
• Communicates with patients regarding insurance forms, releases, and required documentation.
