Intermountain Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet and assist patients, verify information, and resolve needs related to intake and care. You will handle scheduling, registrations, insurance verification, and payments, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Candidates should have customer service experience, basic computer skills, and strong interpersonal abilities to support collaborative care teams in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualificações

• Six months of customer service experience involving interactions with customers.
• Basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
• Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and PHI of patients, members, and caregivers.

Responsabilidades

• Provides courteous and professional connections with patients over the phone, in person or via secure messaging.
• Documents all phone calls accurately and completely in the EMR.
• Schedules patient appointments for visits, procedures, diagnostic tests, referrals, and/or consultations.
• Registers patients over the phone or in person by confirming, entering, and updating all required demographic data.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards, forms of ID, and signatures on all required forms; may verify COB and pre-certifications.
• Assists patients in completing necessary forms to meet regulatory and billing needs prior to receiving clinical care; educates patient on financial assistance; proactively requests payments.
• Stays current on role/responsibilities and participates in site communications to ensure high performance.
