Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a Patient Service Representative in Las Vegas, NV to be the first point of contact for patients, greeting, registering, scheduling visits, and verifying demographic and insurance information.

You will handle phone and in-person inquiries, document in EMR, assist with billing forms, and guide patients through financial assistance and payment collection while upholding privacy and service standards.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills for word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to protect PHI.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in/out patients and schedule appointments.
• Resolve patient needs and ensure a superior customer experience.
• Document interactions in EMR accurately.
• Obtain insurance cards, IDs and signatures as required.
• Assist patients with billing forms and pre-regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients on financial assistance and payment options.
• Process payments following proper procedures.
