Job summary

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills in English/Spanish required.
• Must demonstrate commitment and adherence to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient registration by interviewing patient or responsible party to obtain identification and demographics.
• Verifies insurance benefits and performs up-front collections.
• Determines eligibility and arranges for admission following hospital policies and procedures.
• Obtains signatures of individuals responsible for payment and explains hospital financial obligations.
• Answers telephone and directs calls accordingly; assists with ordering office supplies and preparing letters.
