AccessHealth is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Texas to confirm demographics, verify insurance, schedule appointments, and collect payments. You will support provider schedules and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient flow across locations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, typing ability, and strong customer service skills. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; flexibility for shifts and travel may be needed.

Responsabilités

• Schedule patient appointments and enter required information accurately.
• Verify demographic, insurance and financial data from patients.
• Explain forms to patients and obtain signatures.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; communicate data to patients.
• Collect patient liability, discuss payment options and payment plans.
• Post payments and generate receipts in the system.
• Maintain patient accounts and resolve issues on reports.
• Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, insurers, and patients.
• Complete documentation and meet performance metrics.
• Participate in projects and meetings as assigned; travel to locations as needed.
