South Texas Health System is seeking a front desk registrar to support patient registration, verify insurance, and collect upfront payments. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong customer service, and strict adherence to policies.

You will assist with admissions, prepare correspondence, and answer phones, while ensuring accurate data capture and smooth financial clearance for patients and families.

Formación

• 1–2 years medical/healthcare business office experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• English/Spanish verbal communication required.
• Adherence to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
• Complete CPI training within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Interview patients or responsible party to obtain identification and demographics.
• Verify insurance/benefits and perform upfront collections.
• Determine eligibility and arrange admission per policy.
• Obtain payment responsibility signatures and explain financial obligations.
• Answer phone calls and direct appropriately; assist with ordering supplies and preparing letters.
