Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance into Mercy facilities, including scheduling and registration.
• Verify benefits, perform pre-certification and financial clearance for patients.
• Collect pre-visit payments and ensure accurate data in patient records.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers and Medicare guidelines.
• Mentor fellow Patient Access staff in best practices.
