Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan seeks a Service Center Representative to connect patients with their care team. You will handle patient calls, schedule and confirm appointments, verify insurance, and help patients navigate MyChart with patience and professionalism.

As part of a mission‑driven, patient‑focused team, you will collaborate with providers and office staff to ensure a seamless experience, maintain accurate records, and support referrals and authorizations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; coursework in insurance/billing preferred.
• Experience in medical reception or patient services preferred.
• Strong communication and empathy in patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Answer questions, route calls, and relay messages to staff.
• Verify patient registration and insurance information.
• Assist patients with MyChart and portal support.
• Support referrals, authorizations, and outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Partner with providers and office teams to create a seamless patient experience.
