Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Check-in/out patients; verify demographics and insurance.
• Assist new patients with paperwork and insurance enrollment.
• Collect insurance information and co-pays as needed.
• Direct patients to appropriate departments for scheduling and charges.
• Communicate with clinical staff about scheduling and delays.
• Balance daily transactions and complete activity reports.
• Maintain patient flow and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
