Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Check in patients; verify demographics and insurance information.
• Assist new patients with completing paperwork.
• Collect patient insurance information and co-pays/coinsurance.
• Direct patients to the Patient Financial Specialist for updates or financial agreements.
• Communicate with clinical staff regarding scheduling and appointments.
• Balance monies and transactions daily; batch reports as required.
• Complete daily activity reports at end of shift.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in educational and development activities and other duties as required.
