Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Supervisor to lead Patient Service Representatives across hospital and clinic departments. This role ensures efficient, patient-centered service delivery and collaborates with providers, revenue cycle, IT, and others to resolve issues and drive improvements.

The position requires 3+ years in healthcare patient access or related operations, strong communication and leadership skills, and experience with Epic EHR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in relevant field.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare patient access, revenue cycle, or related operations.
• Supervisory or management experience in patient access or customer service preferred.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates day-to-day operations of assigned departments, focusing on professional relationships, workflows, and customer service.
• Acts as a liaison between support professionals, physicians, and leadership.
• Oversees the Patient Service training and onboarding program, ensuring staff are trained and competent.
• Monitors patient intake, registration, and check-in/check-out processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Responds to patient concerns and service recovery needs, escalating when appropriate.
• Participates in recruitment and hiring of new professionals.
