Job summary

Samaritan Health Services is seeking an administrative support professional to assist health care providers and staff. You will serve as the primary interface between patients, providers, and staff to ensure concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.

As part of the Patient Experience and Engagement team, you will contribute to initiatives that improve patient and family experiences. Strong clerical skills, confidentiality, and teamwork are essential in a dynamic health system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field preferred.
• Two years related healthcare experience required.
• Previous customer service experience required.
• Experience with MS Office and database systems required.
• Experience in conflict resolution, mediation and negotiating issues required.
• Oregon Notary license within six months of hire.
• Certification in Patient Advocacy or Patient Experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to health care providers and staff.
• Acts as the primary interface between patients and providers, managers and staff to ensure concerns are addressed timely.
• Applies interdisciplinary team approach to develop and implement plans for improving patient and customer experiences.
