Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach is seeking a friendly patient access representative to greet patients, visitors, and staff. You will screen entrants, issue visitor badges, and assist with wayfinding while upholding safety policies.

Ideal candidates are bilingual in English and Spanish, have a high school diploma, and can communicate clearly under pressure. You will use basic hospital software and contribute to a compassionate, Christ-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read accurately and comprehend, write clearly, and follow simple directions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety rules, penalties, codes, and policies.
• Fully bi-lingual in English and Spanish, or any of the listed languages (Portuguese, Creole, Vietnamese, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Korean).
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, visitors, and employees entering the facility.
• Screens individuals entering the facility per organizational protocols.
• Creates and issues visitor badges to entrants.
• Anticipates needs and uses problem-solving to resolve issues.
• Monitors environment and reports safety concerns to campus security.
• Assists during emergencies and upholds visitation guidelines.
• Uses basic hospital applications to assist guests and staff.
