Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for medical visits.
• Answer phone inquiries and schedule appointments.
• Assist patients with enrolling and using MyChart.
• Enter and validate patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Communicate information to the medical care team.
• Contact insurance companies regarding coverage or preauthorizations as needed.
• Collect and process payments for copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and balances.
• Complete and file various paperwork and forms.
• Work Epic work queues and inbasket messages.
• Schedule referrals and follow-up visits.
• Scan documents accurately into EPIC.
