Your role includes scheduling with the nursing team, coordinating referrals, and handling multi-line phone operations to support a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Post-secondary education helpful.
• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographics.
• Create, scan, route documents or electronic forms.
• Inform patients about documents and capture signatures.
• Establish and assign financial responsibility and assist with arrangements.
• Collect co-payments, pre-payments, and payments on account balances.
• May address registration errors or denied insurance claims.
