Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year previous related experience required.
• Type 35 wpm.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance terminology.
• Bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments and register patients across the Jefferson Health System in accordance with clinical and insurance requirements.
• Use EMR to complete scheduling, confirm appointments, verify demographic information and insurance eligibility, and resolve user issues per established protocols.
• Coordinate orders, referrals and insurance requirements to ensure patients receive maximum benefits for services.
• Maintain qualitative and quantitative individual and team performance targets.
