Job summary

The PAR handles enrollment, pre-authorization, and related duties, ensuring proper financial responsibility while maintaining confidentiality and professional communication with patients and care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Medical terminology helpful; customer service skills essential.
• Six months' customer service experience desired.
• BLS may be required for certain locations/settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and assist with scheduling.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect co-pays.
• Handle paperwork and maintain registration databases.
• Coordinate referrals, pre-authorization, and reminders.
• Rotate across multiple Sanford locations as needed.
