You will schedule appointments for outpatient and psychiatric services, verify insurance eligibility, and provide exceptional customer service in a busy call center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent typing and computer proficiency.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for clients seeking services and scheduling.
• Schedule initial appointments for Outpatient and Psychiatric Services with accurate calendar management.
• Assess client needs, including crisis-related situations, and route calls appropriately.
• Answer incoming calls and connect clients with the appropriate staff or resource.
• Verify insurance eligibility and referral information using designated software systems.
• Maintain accurate client records, activity logs, and reports.
• Send appointment reminders and other correspondence to support engagement and attendance.
• Protect client privacy by adhering to HIPAA requirements and confidentiality standards.
• Support department operations by completing additional duties as assigned.
