Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Registrar in our Call Center in Springfield, IL. The role focuses on handling a high volume of patient calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate patient data in the EHR while supporting clinics and providers for coordinated patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to multitask across systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance in a full-time shift.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 Hours/Week, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Responsibilities

• Manage a high volume of patient calls and schedule appointments.
• Ensure accurate patient information in the EHR.
• Coordinate patient care needs while delivering professional patient experience.
• Multitask across multiple systems, follow HIPAA guidelines, adapt to changing workflows.
