Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years customer service experience required.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of PHI confidentiality and HIPAA basics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check in/out patients in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with MyChart enrollment.
• Verify and update patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Communicate with providers and care teams to support patient care.
• Contact insurers as needed for coverage, pre-authorization or billing questions.
• Collect copays and other payments; process payments accurately.
• Assist patients with forms and documentation; maintain patient privacy.
