Qualifications

• Education: GED required.
• 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound/outbound patient communications via phone, online, and in person.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate visit logistics for a seamless patient experience.
• Perform full patient registration and pre-registration with accurate demographics.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect appropriate payments.
• Explain financial policies and provide upfront financial counseling.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy.
• Serve as liaison between patients, physicians, and staff to resolve issues.
• Train other PSR staff and ensure adherence to policies.
