Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience: 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge/skills: excellent English communication; proficient with multiple electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete patient registrations accurately per policies.
• Verify demographics, insurance information, and benefits; ensure chart is up-to-date.
• Obtain and verify IDs/insurance cards; confirm patient identity and coverage.
• Adhere to HIPAA standards for patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Facilitate patient flow through the care process and provide appointment information.
• Provide upfront financial counseling and discuss payment options with patients.
• Act as liaison for patients, physicians and staff to resolve issues.
• Train other PSRs and adhere to company policies.
