Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a patient-facing healthcare function or customer service role
• Strong verbal and written English communication
• Bi-lingual abilities a plus

Responsibilities

• Schedule and register patients for appointments with attention to policies
• Perform pre-registration and ensure demographic/insurance information is up to date
• Verify insurance and benefits and collect payments when applicable
• Verify identity and coverage before services
• Maintain HIPAA privacy and confidentiality
• Facilitate smooth patient flow through the care process
• Provide upfront financial counseling and discuss payment options
• Educate patients on appointments, policies, and parking
• Act as liaison between patients, physicians and staff
• Train new patient services representatives
• Adhere to company policies and standards
