Job summary

Seattle Children's is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator I to support pre-visit workflow, collect patient information, and coordinate encounters to ensure a positive, professional experience. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years customer service/administrative experience, healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule appointments in Cadence and/or OpTime.
• Coordinate care with other services to minimize access delays.
• Process referrals and triage calls to appropriate resources.
• Send MyChart invitations and collect/update demographic and financial information for reimbursement.
• Check in patients and collect copays and outstanding balances.
• Inform and collect signed consent for care.
• Maintain infection prevention standards.
• Participate in hospital initiatives and goals.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
