Job summary

Seattle Children’s is seeking a Registration Coordinator to support patient-facing registration, checking in patients for scheduled and walk-in visits across outpatient settings. The role includes coordinating return visit appointments, reducing delays, and communicating clearly with patients and families, while ensuring consent is obtained and infection prevention standards are followed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service and/or administrative support experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years in health care are preferred.
• Experience serving the general public in a health care/customer service environment; bilingual skills encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Create new registrations and check patients in for scheduled and walk-in visits.
• Schedule patient return visits and minimize clinic access delays.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Inform patients about and collect signed consent for care.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and improve patient experience processes.
• Support Urgent Care, Radiology, and Access Clinic check-ins as needed.
