Qualifications

• 1 year in healthcare or scheduling/registration preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greets and guides customers; answers calls and directs inquiries.
• Registers patients, collects information and documents electronic records.
• Schedules procedures and follow-ups; tracks no-shows as needed.
• Obtains insurance authorizations and collects co-pays when applicable.
• Maintains patient charts and coordinates with physicians' offices.
• Performs other clerical duties and supports imaging workflow when needed.
