Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Registration Admitting professional in Scottsdale to admit patients, collect demographics and insurance details, and update ADT systems. You will greet patients, verify information, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate identification and HIPAA compliance, contributing to smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in medical office or hospital registration, with 1 year preferred, and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months medical office, hospital registration/business/medical insurance office/customer service experience required.
• 1 year experience at a medical office or other hospital/nursing home facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admits patients to the hospital, collects information and deposits, completes forms and signatures, scans IDs and documents, updates ADT systems.
• Greets patients, provides info, ensures HIPAA compliance, supports a positive patient experience.
• Obtains signatures on documents, prepares paperwork, and ensures accurate patient identification.
• Scans documents into EMR/financial records and maintains proper charting and records.
