Job summary

Responsibilities include supervising Pre-Services staff, providing performance feedback, maintaining policies, and participating in process improvements to strengthen patient access workflow.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years registration/financial counseling/patient accounts experience with emphasis on customer service.
• 3 years healthcare scheduling or hospital registration experience or patient financial counseling or Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• 3 years minimum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource for appointment scheduling, registration and insurance verification.
• Supervises Pre-Services staff and provides performance feedback.
• Maintains departmental and network policies, procedures and guidelines for optimal task execution.
• Performs pre-registrations, scheduling, pricing, and other system tasks to remain proficient in all applicable systems.
• Attends payer in-services and assists in leading departmental meetings to improve communications and payer requirements.
